ENMORE MEMORIAL HALL

Then & Now

The Hall was built in memoriam to the unreturning soldiers of Enmore from WW1.

It was financed by the owner of Enmore Castle at the time. Building commenced in 1920.

Situated between upper and lower Enmore, it is at the heart of village life, holding many meetings for a variety of clubs and groups.

As well as social functions, during the 1920's, the Hall was used for cookery lessons

for the children from Enmore School. When WW2 erupted, it became a class room for some of the children evacuated from London.

Testimonials

It was very easy to book the hall and we found it to be very competitively priced in comparison to other halls. Communication during booking was excellent and the hall had brilliant kitchen facilities and the main hall provided a lovely space to host our son’s birthday party. We would recommend this for any occasion.

We hired Enmore village hall for our daughter’s birthday party. Such a lovely venue…beautifully clean, with wonderful facilities. The twinkly fairy lights added the perfect touch to the party ambience!

There is a modern, well equipped kitchen, with excellent appliances.

I booked the hall by contacting Fiona, who was so helpful and accommodating, with seamless communication.

We have recommended Enmore village hall to many friends and will certainly be using it again for future events. Thankyou

The Enmore Village hall is a lovely  place for small to medium party size, I have had a 30 children plus parent party there and it's plenty space for the children to do the activities and also space for table and chairs for dinner. the kitchen is well equid. The location is great, just off Enmore road next to the golf club with plenty of parking space.

Fiona is very friendly and helpful.

Highly recommended."

We hired Enmore Village Hall for our sons 4th birthday party in April and had a fantastic day. It is such a lovely, bright and colourful space which you can make your own. We hired a bouncy castle and softplay which worked well. The kitchen facilities were great and and we were provided everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this space for a party.

Enmore village hall has been upgraded into a very efficient little kitchen, with everything that you would need for catering for a party, ie good small cooker, brilliant HOT  Cupboard, microwave, tea urns and dish washer. Very easy parking with minimum walking to unload. Booking easy and friendly. Thoroughly recommend!
